  • Ian Jensen-Muir

    CEO Belgravia Health and Fitness

    Ian has over 25 years’ experience in running businesses both in Australia and internationally, including ExxonMobil (Mobil Oil Australia) where he managed the retail business, Mobil Quix and its 400 sites. With a wealth of experience in retailing and operations via multi-site locations and working with direct company operations, joint ventures and franchise, Ian’s retail and business experience is significant. Ian commenced with Genesis Health and Fitness in December 2012, expanding the direction to Belgravia Health and Fitness through the introduction of the new franchise offerings Coaching Zone and Ninja Parc.

    Ian’s strength in strategy, mergers and acquisitions, as well as planning has enabled Belgravia Health and Fitness to deliver ongoing success to the business and its franchisees.

  • Alex Lord

    GM Corporate Services

    Alex has over a decade’s experience in the service industry, with management roles for Hilton Hotels in Japan. Alex joined Belgravia Health and Leisure Group in 2007, consolidating his skills in a management traineeship across multiple business units (including Belgravia Leisure and Genesis Health Clubs) which now provides a solid foundation to his current executive position. Alex is proud of Belgravia Health and Leisure Group’s heritage as an Australian family owned business and equally of his part in the Group’s founding family. To date, Alex has streamlined Belgravia Leisure’s head office support for our centres, strengthening our quality, risk and environmental systems, procurement and retail processes, human resources and IT services.

    CEO Commercial Belgravia Health & Leisure Group

    A results-driven, experienced Senior Executive/Chartered Accountant with a broad range of corporate experience over 30 years, including key CFO/management roles with large US multi-nationals, ASX-listed and unlisted services companies, privately owned organisations and NFP’s/charities, leading and managing both large and small finance, procurement and IT teams.

  • Mark Maybury

    Group Manager People & Culture

    Mark Maybury is an experienced commercial human resource professional passionate about challenging the traditional role of HR in business and the modern workforce.

    After spending nearly a decade leading large operational and HR teams in retail, Mark joined the Belgravia Group on their mission to connect communities to wellness and leisure in June 2016 to drive our ambitious people and change agenda.

    Mark knows greater connectivity and emerging technology is forcing organisations to reflect on their workforce strategies, innovate and adapt in response to shifting expectations and motivations of modern employees.

    Mark partners with our executive team and operational leaders to drive aspirational programs focused on delivering business results through the engagement and development of our most important resource – our people!

  • Simon Groube

    General Manager Operations

    Simon leads a team of operational experts across the Belgravia Health and Fitness Network and has 25 years’ experience in the commercial fitness industry.
    Beginning his career as a personal trainer, Simon first joined Genesis Health and Fitness in 1997, working at its very first club in Ringwood before progressing his career into club management in 2001.
    Simon has since run many successful clubs both within the Genesis Health and Fitness Network and numerous independent clubs and has been a previous owner of two large commercial clubs.
    Since joining Belgravia Health and Fitness five years ago, Simon has worked in multi-site operational management roles, using his extensive sales and operational background to lead the company’s teams.

  • Magdalena Schoeman

    New Business Manager

    Magdalena has a diverse background and wealth of experience in both business and fitness; and has owned multiple companies, including startups, while concurrently studying her MBA.

    The fitness industry is a lifestyle for Magdalena. She began as a successful personal trainer, she was then an award-winning club manager before moving into franchise sales with one of the largest international fitness groups.

    As the Belgravia Health and Fitness New Business Manager, Magdalena uses her expertise to help prospective franchisees achieve their dreams of owning their own successful and profitable fitness business.

  • Heath Graham

    Franchise Support Manager

    Heath has over 10 years’ experience in the fitness industry, spanning multiple roles like operations, sales and sales management, club management and personal training.
    He is highly skilled and passionate in business operations, including overseeing commercial property, leasing and negotiations.

    Heath’s well-rounded experience across company owned, joint-venture and franchising businesses is an invaluable asset in his role of overseeing the Belgravia Health and Fitness Franchise Support Team with the growth and ongoing success of Coaching Zone, Genesis Health and Fitness and Ninja Parc.

  • Brooke Hodgett

    Executive Assistant

    Brooke’s career commenced with the studies of Event Management and since then has gained experience in concierge, administration, sales, marketing and assistant services over the past 8 years. Brooke initially found herself in the property industry through serviced offices and found growth working with commercial developers.

    Brooke’s passion for health and fitness enhances her ability to support the CEO along with the broader executive team. Her high quality skills in organisation and multi-tasking drive the team to maintain day to day tasks and strategic priorities.

  • Allira Taylor

    Marketing Manager JUMP! Swim Schools

    Allira has worked in marketing and communications roles across multiple industries, with a focus on strategic brand management.

    As the Marketing Manager, she is responsible for the national marketing and communications strategy, and is your point of contact to assist in any questions relating to your local area marketing initiatives.

  • Daniel Hayes

    WA State Manager Genesis Health + Fitness

    Danny has been in the fitness industry for 17 years.

    His journey started like many in the industry as a Membership consultant. After 6 months in this role he worked through to Club Manager, Area Manager and then State Manager across two of the largest fitness chains across two states.

    What gives Danny the ultimate knowledge is he has also owned and operated his own health club.

    The experiences and skills learnt from operating chains and owning his own facility makes Danny the ideal operator for Genesis Fitness.

    He can share best practice to train staff while also thinking like an owner to deliver the best outcome for our franchisees and staff alike.

    VIC State Manager Genesis Health + Fitness

    Josh has worked in the Health and Fitness industry for 17 years. Starting his journey in membership sales, before quickly progressing club management roles, he has had the opportunity to lead some of Australia’s largest health clubs in multiple states. Josh has worked for 3 of the largest health club operators in Australia giving him valuable experience across all areas of health club operations. Josh is passionate about service and strives to provide the best possible experience for Members, staff and franchise partners alike.
